Nirmala Academic and Research Publications (NARP)

This is the publication and information division of the college. NARP publishes the Research Journal 'Science and Society' , a biannual journal. Besides it publishes books from various departments in the college. The three books published by NARP in the Golden Jubilee Year (Kerala Economy and European Trade; Innovative Approaches and Challenges in Rural Credit; Higher Education in India-Problems and Prospects) were released by Sri. P. J. Joseph, Former Minister for Education, Sri. P. C. Thomas M.P. and Sri. Johny Nelloor MLA respectively.

Media Centre

Media Centre co-ordinates the in-house requirements of publications and information. The centre designs brochures, newsletters, layout of NARP publications and maintenance of college websites.

‘Science & Society’- An interface for emerging science and evolving society

Advancement in Science and technology has improved the physical quality of human life and has come to dominate every sphere of human activity. At the same time development without virtues has been posing threat to humanity and challenges to its ethical foundations. "Science & Society" provides a solid forum to discuss developments in science and its impact on modern society. The journal analyses the implications of science policies, evaluates the environmental issues involved in the application of technology without human face and suggest alternatives. It also provides opportunity for academics to interact and evolve sustainable developmental strategies for a better society.

A major section of this journal is dedicated to the publication of original research articles. To create research aptitude among students we have also set apart a few pages for students who would like to publish research articles. Contributions in the form of letters to the editor, commentary, news and notes, review articles, short communications and resource reviews are also published.
