Our Students

As our college is situated in a rural area, most of our students are from middle and lower middle class families. Majority of the students are girls and mainly belongs to backward communities. They are provided with many types of state and central government scholarships and the financial support given by the institution.

Total amount of scholarship our students received = Rs 3, 90,145/-          

The college is situated in Avoly grama panchayat. The students were from the nearby villages for the last so many years. As the central allotment process (‘Eka jalakam’) is introduced, now we have so many students from various places in Kerala and even from outside Kerala. Bikram misra is our first year M.A student who is from Manipur, the east end of India.

On an average, 35% of B.A students opt higher studies. 60% of M.A students are doing higher studies.

                                             Through N.C.C, N.S.S, Nature Club, Tourism club, Women cell, Film and                Dramatic club, Arts club, Oratory club, our students get the opportunities for extension activities. Dept. encourages them to do so.
