Alumni Association
The Department has a galore of successful Alumni. The alumni association is active.The 1989-92 batch met on 8th April, 2011 and 1983-86 batch met on 22nd May, 2011. In both the meetings there was a significant presence of retired teachers. An idea of starting a training programme for students by Alumni emerged during these meetings. It fructified into 'return' a training programme by Alumni Association.
The first training programme under the banner of 'return', was organised on 7th July, 2011, where a half day training on Motivation was given to the fresh batch of BA students. The programme was well received and more programmes were planned .
